Kabeaushé
Wednesday April 29
Kabeaushé is an alter ego of 29‑year old artist and producer Kabochi Gitau. A formidable and wildly-dressed character, Kabeaushé produces an eccentric blend of pop, hip‑hop and electronica on his latest album The Coming Of Gaze. Although Kabochi is originally from Kenya, his career owes much to Nyege Nyege: a Kampala, Uganda‑based collective, festival, community studio and record label. Nyege Nyege founder Derek Debru has brought dozens of underground East African producers Read more on Last.fm
Gum
Thursday April 30
The mercurial neo-psychedelia of GUM is the creation of Pond and Tame Impala drummer Jay Watson. The solo project's full-length debut, Delorean Highway, appeared in 2014. Taking a varied approach over the next several years that was always trippy but sometimes drenched in fuzz, sometimes more robotic synth pop, and sometimes crunchier rock, GUM committed to a synth-enhanced psych rock for his more cohesive fourth album, 2018's The Underdog. Hailing from Western Australia, Watson began recording self-produced music as GUM in 2011. Read more on Last.fm
GUM TAKES TOOTH
Friday May 01
Gum Takes Tooth is a math rock / noise rock duo based in London, UK consisting of Jussi Brightmore (electronics, vocals) and Thomas Fuglesang (drums, percussion). Formed in 2009, the duo quickly established a unique approach whereby drum-triggered electronics are manipulated to achieve a dynamic, rhythmically driven and flagrantly unclassifiable fury that has flirted with both speaker-ripping psych-rock pyrotechnics and synapse-shredding acid house deliverance whilst stubbornly avoiding any of the trappings or cliches of either. Rosalía
Friday May 01
Rosalia Vila Tobella, known mononymously as ROSALÍA is a Spanish singer and songwriter. Born and raised in the outskirts of Barcelona, she has been described as an "untypical pop star" due to her genre-bending musical styles. After being enthralled by Spanish folk music at age 13, she studied musicology at Catalonia College of Music while also performing at musical bars and weddings. She completed her studies with honors by virtue of her collaborative cover album with Raül Refree, Los Ángeles and the baccalaureate project El Mal Querer. Read more on Last.fm

Nubiyan Twist are a Leeds born, London based musical collective. Orchestrated by guitarist/producer Tom Excell, they create a unique, infectious sound in an eclectic mix of styles, drawing on jazz, hip-hop, afrobeat, latin, soul, reggae and dance music. Ganser
Sunday May 03
Growth with no reward. Finding strength in your less desirable traits. Coming up with the perfect comeback hours later in bed, glaring at the ceiling. Asking yourself: am I improving, or am I just changing into something unrecognizable? Chicago quartet Ganser probe the futility of striving for self-growth during the chaos of our times for dark comedy and jagged sounds on their potent new LP Just Look at That Sky, out July 31, 2020 on Felte Records. Hyper Gal
Saturday May 09
Springing from Osaka, Japan’s cultural center and historical heart, comes HYPER GAL, a two-piece band consisting of visual artist Koharu Ishida on vocals and noise artist Kurumi Kadoya on drums. The minimalist duo make maximum impact - stripping music down beyond the bare essentials, to create shimmering, no wave pop from blast beat drums, glittery keyboard loops and ethereal bubblegum vocals - laced with velvet and firecrackers.
