Body Maintenance
TBA
Friday February 27
Hailing from Melbourne, Body Maintenance sounds like a band you would hear in a club in 1980s Manchester rather than at Melbourne’s The Curtin Hotel in 2023. While taking inspiration from the likes of Sisters of Mercy, The Sound and Echo and the Bunnymen, their sound is unique and unlike any other bands in the realm. In April released their debut album Beside You, the follow-up to their 2021 self-titled EP. Listening to Beside You, you are taken on a journey beginning at the hard Read more on Last.fm

Thursday March 05
Belle and Sebastian is a band from Glasgow, Scotland. Led by guitarist/vocalist Stuart Murdoch, the seven-piece band has an intimate, majestic sound that is equal parts folk-rock and '60s pop. Murdoch has a gift for not only whimsy and surrealism, but also for odd, unsettling lyrical detail which keeps the songs grounded in a tangible reality. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Belle and Sebastian released their first two albums in 1996 at the peak of the chamber pop movement. Read more on Last.fm

Chris Imler
Saturday March 07
Chris Imler is an industry veteran, a jack-of-all-trades, a drum dandy, a beat prophet, and an unmatched player in the Berlin indie scene. He has generated rhythm for artists as diverse as the Golden Showers, Peaches, Jens Friebe, and, most recently, Oum Shatt, but most of all he works for himself: Chris Imler – Chris Imler solo – Chris Imler live. Imler’s live performances always grow out of rhythm. His beats and samples, which are both pre-programmed and played live, form the backbones of his songs. Read more on Last.fm
